January 29 thru February 25 - Art Exhibit for Kaigani Haida Artist (Scott Fulton), Alameda Main Library.
Reception: Wednesday, February 1
6:30-8pm
Regina K. Stafford Meeting Room, 1st floor
Mr. Fulton will discuss his art at this reception.
Scott Fulton has studied Northwest Coast artistic styles
extensively. Creating art has always been his passion.
He continues to study his ancestor's art and culture,
learning from his Kaigani Haida elders, other relatives,
family friends and artists. Using traditional and non-
traditional symbolism, shapes and form line
components, he has created his contemporary style.
Mr. Fulton's work is included in the collection of the
Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian.
